Where is 401 Bay located?
401 Bay Centre is located on the 16th floor at 401 Bay Street (Simpson Tower) which is on the south east corner of Bay St. and Queen St, in the heart of downtown Toronto.
Is there parking nearby?
There is direct access to two parking areas - Bay Adelaide Centre and Toronto City Hall Parking. Monthly passes are available.
Is there access to the P-A-T-H and subway?
There is direct access to the Queen Subway and the P-A-T-H. You can walk through the path to the Sheraton Hotel, Bay Adelaide Centre, the Bay and two parking areas, the Bay Adelaide Centre and Toronto City Hall and continue on through the 37 km underground P-A-T-H network.
Is 401 Bay Centre Green?
401 Bay Street is an award winning Green building having received the Building of Excellence Award in 2007. It was Canadas first office tower to recycle 100% of the waste, and utilizes the Enwave Deep Lake Cooling system that reduces the building cooling electricity by 90%. Our café is plastic free and our garbage is recycled.
What makes 401 Bay Centre different than other managed offices?
401 Bay Centre is unbranded. The name is the address. This ensures the focus is on your company and the office projects a professional image.
Why should I have an office at 401 Bay rather than my own office space?
401 Bay Centre offers short term leases, so you have the flexibiity to stay or leave if your needs change.
We provide everything you need - furniture, high speed internet, reception and telephone service, meeting rooms, cafe with a full kitchen, business centre with copier, scanning, fax, shredder and other office equipment, administrative support.
Is my office at 401 Bay less expensive than my own space?
Yes, absolutely.
The cost for the actual office space is higher, but it includes everything you need. Just bring your laptop.
No need to buy costly furniture and office equipement and best of all you won't need adminstrative staff - we answer your telephone and offer administrative help when you need it.
Do you offer short term leases?
Most clients commit to a one year lease. However Virtual Office plans are available on a 6 month basis as well. There is some flexibility for permanent offices depending when you plan to move in.
Can I use my office anytime?
There is 24/7 access for all clients with a full time office via security card. Virtual clients can access 401 Bay Centre during business hours (8:30 am to 6 pm).
What is virtual office?
A virtual office is for professionals with a home office or for those who are not in the office everyday.
There are many options available. The most popular is the Mail Plan. It only costs $69.00 per month and includes:
- Use of prestigious 401 Bay Centre address
- Listing in the building lobby directory
- Mail, courier, fax receipt
- Use of 401 Bay Centre facilities which include: Reception, Business Centre, Cafe, meeting rooms, day offices and administrative duties.
Are there meeting rooms at 401 Bay Centre?
Three meeting rooms and day offices are available on an hourly, ½ day or daily basis. Frequent user discounts apply.
Can I use a meeting room if I don't have an office at 401 Bay Centre?
Yes, meeting rooms and day offices are available for guests as well when not being used by our virtual and full time office clients.
What equipment is provided for the meeting rooms?
